In 1982 Zuccon started their collaboration with the Baglietto shipyard, giving rise to a new phase in their history: two patrol boats measuring 23 and 16 m in length. Then, in 1985 they designed an open 21-meter yacht andin 1986 architect Zuccon designed the 46-meter yacht Al Fahedi.
The year 1983 also marked the start of the firm’s cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) and their Italian headquarters (ESRIN) located in the research district of Frascati. Studies were carried out and designs developed at the architectural, town planning and workspace level. This cooperation has been ongoing and over the past twenty-five years it has resulted in the completion of complex plans with various functional and dimensional specifications.
In 1984, Zuccon International Project srl is established in order to consolidate the structure and for better organization.
In the meantime, the firm has been extending their scope in the automotive sector. Over the three-year period 1987-1990, they developed a series of urban bus and GT designs on behalf of Carrozzeria Portesi in Brescia. Zuccon International Project designed the vehicle’s outer bodywork and inner space, developing a series of models currently in circulation and which have been presented at the International Bus Show in Turin and Frankfurt. Of the plans developed, also included was the Albatros range P800 of 8.7, 9.7, 10.5 and 12 metres and a Turismo which was 12 meters long.
